April 1st announcements

For me, this day has two important events that must be celebrated. First, it's the date that Beemer, Greg, and I have chosen to celebrate our anniversary. Today is the start of our third year together, and I've had nothing but bliss so far and I know it will only improve. I love you guys.

Second, today begins my seventh year of having kicked the smoking habit. If you happen to have quit smoking, you can head over to quitmeter.com and build your banner to put on your bio page that tells you how long you've been without a cigarette, as well as how much money you've saved over the years. As I reward myself each year for this, I picked up Guild Wars: Factions to go along with my Prophecies campaign. I'll pick up Nightfall when I'm done with Facitons.

Now, I'm going to take a minute to show an image that is rather dear to me. Our buddy toosuto had been creating this since X-mas, and he just sent me the finished product. I'm impressed that he did this, and I want everyone to see just how much he kicks ass. Behold! The Triple Action Man Clan (now in color!).

Nice, eh? You rock, Josh!

Congratulations on all accounts! I kicked the habit when I graduated from high school. I dropped a guy and decided I'd also drop some bad habits.

Sadly, it's been about 12 hours since my last cigarette, but it isn't a habit anymore. I can go months/years without a treat, but lately... I don't know what's hit me.

The poster is awesome! No soft bears there!

(Now I want my own superhero poster, but I can't think of what my super power would be. My brother once drew a picture of me as "Poncho Woman," but the whole point of the character was that it was really lame.)

You could be "The Aviatrix"! She's the best pilot in the world and has lots of spiffy airplanes.

She can fly anything, and has cool boots, and a silk scarf!

Actually, Poncho Woman could fly, but as it involved a lot of twirling, it invariably ended up with motion sickness.

Snaps to you for kicking the habit and going the distance! I'm thrilled and impressed!

And that art is da bomb! Snaps to Josh and his mad skillz too!

I'm so glad that you guys are so happy. I hope that someday I will get to meet Greg! (Chris and I still plan to get back out to CO to visit at some point...)

That poster does, indeed, rock. You should blow it up and frame it.
